Anthering, a village close to nature
Anthering, a village close to nature amid meadows and forests, the perfect setting for you and your family to spend a relaxing vacation on the fringes of the Festival City of Salzburg.
The village of Anthering lies in the Northern Salzburg basin, surrounded by the Haunsberg and the Hochgitzen mountains. Looking to the West, the village is bordered by the Salzach River with beautiful meadowlands, which delimit the national borders between Austria and Germany. At an altitude of 422 m above sea level, the parish area stretches over 2.530 ha.
Relax and enjoy this picturesque idyll at only 7 kilometres from Salzburg. Its central location makes Anthering the perfect starting point for a number of leisure activities in Salzburger Land. A popular example is the Mozart bike track, which leads directly past our hotel. This track allows you to discover many different stops by bike with stories from the life of the famous composer.
You certainly also have the option to go on small tours, for example to visit the old city of Salzburg, or neighbouring Bavaria.
